Students seeking to transfer into the 10th or 11th grade must follow the same application process as 9th-grade applicants, with the exception of the HSPT (High School Placement Test), which is not required for transfer students. In addition, full, official high school transcripts, with credits clearly noted, must be submitted. Mid-year transfer requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Please note the following transfer policies:
-
Bishop Ireton does not accept students who have been reclassified or who have repeated a grade in high school.
-
It is our policy not to accept local senior (12th-grade) transfers. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Bishop Ireton competes in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC), which enforces a strict transfer policy for student-athletes.
