Catechism of the Catholic Church

Proud to be Catholic both in our founding and practice, Bishop Ireton High School upholds the teaching and beliefs of the Catholic Church. Under the guidance of the Bishop of Arlington, the Bishop Ireton administration is responsible for safeguarding and transmitting the truth, goodness and beauty of our Catholic faith. With our Christ-centered focus, we seek to promote our Catholic identity by teaching the truth faithfully and in charity. The beliefs of the Church can be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is summarized according to the four pillars of the faith: 1) The Profession of Faith; 2) The Celebration of the Christian Mystery; 3) Life in Christ; and 4) Christian Prayer.
