A student who fails (F) a semester or full-year course must pass the course in an approved summer school program before returning to Bishop Ireton High School for the following school year. A student who receives a grade of D or F as the final year-end grade in World Language or Mathematics must re-take the course prior to continuing their study in World Language or Mathematics.
Students can repeat a course in a face-to-face summer school program at their local high school or online with Educere. You must get approval from Mrs. Battle, Assistant Principal for Academics, prior to enrolling in a program, other than Educere.

If you are taking an online course, please remember students work on these courses at home on their laptop or computer. Students will need to spend at least 2-3 hours a day on the course.
Families register and pay for the course directly with Educere using the unique Bishop Ireton link
. Students must complete all online coursework for remediation by Monday, August 26. No extensions will be granted. The final exam must be taken at Bishop Ireton on Tuesday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m.
For religion courses, students must take the appropriate online course with Virtual Schools of Excellence. To enroll, please contact the Virtual Schools of Excellence Admission Office
at 844-301-8763 prior to July 1, 2019. You must identify yourself as a Bishop Ireton Students or parent. The work must be completed and grade verification submitted to Bishop Ireton no later than Monday, August 26. This is a Bishop Ireton requirement and no extensions will be granted.
