Tennis - Girls Varsity
Girls Tennis represents Bishop Ireton at the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels in the WCAC and VISAA. Head Coach Tom Noone returned to the helm of the Varsity squad in 2025 after a brief hiatus, and Mr. Gregory Henderson joined the program as the Head JV Coach.
The Cardinals host their home matches at Montgomery Park on the north end of Old Town, including an annual "Racquets for Research" match benefitting the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown MedStar Hospital.
Since 2019, the Cardinals have won five individual WCAC titles. Nine different players have achieved All-WCAC honors for a total of fifteen selections, with six of those selections being to the first team. After completing their careers at Ireton, players have gone on to play tennis at George Mason University, DeSales University, Randolph-Macon College, and more.
