  • Ice Hockey - Boys Varsity 1

    The Bishop Ireton Boys Ice Hockey team is represented on the ice by two Varsity teams. Head Coach Stephen Gerke is a 2014 graduate of Bishop Ireton and proud Bishop Ireton Hockey team alumnus. As a collegiate hockey player at Virginia Tech, Coach Gerke was named a 2nd Team ACCHL All-American, Assistant Captain of the 2019 ACCHL All-Star team, and a 2024 inductee into the ACCHL Hall of Fame.
    The boys ice hockey program was the 2024-25 WCAC Runner Up and the Capital Scholastic Hockey League (CSHL) Champion for the 2022-23 season.
    Individual players have been named to the CSHL All-Star team and have received WCAC All-Conference 1st and 2nd Team honors. After Bishop Ireton, many have continued on the ice at the ACHA and ACC level.
