Bishop Ireton earned a strong late-season victory, defeating Catholic 70–64 in a matchup between two top teams in the region. The Cardinals controlled key stretches of the game and made timely plays down the stretch to secure the win.

The victory marked back-to-back wins for Bishop Ireton and improved the team’s overall record to 15-9 on the season, continuing the Cardinals’ push toward postseason play.

Ireton’s defensive effort and execution in critical moments proved decisive, as the team held off Catholic’s late push and maintained composure in a physical contest. The win demonstrated the Cardinals’ resilience and ability to compete against high-level competition in the WCAC.
