v. Our Lady of Good Counsel High School

BI V1 won a physical matchup with Good Counsel, 6-3.  Good Counsel changed their strategy and decided to try to intimidate BI by focusing on body checks. BI was not intimidated and made Good Counsel pay with 6 goals through the first 2 periods. It was a team effort where the Cardinals saw goals from 6 different players, Finn Higgins '28, Michael Callender '26, Joseph Payne '28, Connor Seibel '26, Barnaby Lant '27, and Jacob Brink '27. The game got ugly in the third period with several ejections from Good Counsel's bench, but BI maintained their composure for the win. Declan Edwards was stout in goal stopping 14 of 17 shots.
