The Girls Hockey Team had their first game ever against O'Connell Girls Hockey on Friday, November 14th at Medstar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, VA. While the final result was an 8-1 loss, there were a significant number of positives to take away from their first game.

Missing almost half of the team due to travel commitments, the girls persevered having only 6 skaters - 3 of which were playing in their first competitive hockey game. The first goal in program history came from Sophomore Addy Soto, assisted by Belen Lorenzo y Losada and Claire Tierney. The girls had fantastic morale despite the struggles they endured and demonstrated very impressive levels of cardio and overall perseverance. Goalie Andie Francis made some incredible saves and stopped many shots from the more experienced O'Connell team. We couldn't be more excited for the remainder of their inaugural season!
