The Bishop Ireton JV Cardinals fell to Our Lady of Good Counsel 7–5 in a competitive matchup, with contributions across the lineup and pitching staff.
Offensively, Samuel Dyck ('28) led the way with two hits and a run scored, while Patrick Beretsel ('28) added a hit and two runs. Henry Gustafson ('28), Casen Reber ('29), and Nicolas Bradshaw ('29) each recorded a hit, with Bradshaw driving in two RBIs and Benjamin Funk ('29) adding another RBI. The Cardinals also showed patience at the plate, with Gustafson, Berestal, and Reber each drawing a walk.
On the mound, Reber got the start and recorded a strikeout, with Simon Dickerson ('29) and Joseph Subasavage ('28) each contributing in relief and adding one strikeout apiece.
Despite the result, the Cardinals showed balanced offensive production and continued to compete throughout the game.
