The Cardinals opened the first half with energy and composure, pressing forward and creating chances.
Despite the bright start, a miscommunication on a free kick allowed Episcopal to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. Captain Travis Mulder came closest to leveling the score, nearly finding the back of the net, but his effort was narrowly off target.
In the second half, Bishop Ireton struggled to maintain the same attacking rhythm from the opening 40 minutes. Episcopal capitalized on the shift in momentum, adding two more goals to seal a 3-0 result.
