The Cardinals flew in to McLean, VA for their third game of the week against the Madeira School.
Junior Kaden Lyle shut down Madeira's bats, pitching 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 3. The Ireton bats stayed relatively cool with 6 hits but were disciplined collecting 7 walks. Junior Claire Schlereth went 1-3 scoring 1 run and pounding out 4 RBI.
