The Bishop Ireton Cardinals Varsity Baseball team fell to Bishop McNamara 12 - 2, facing a strong offensive performance from their opponent.
On the mound, Alexander Glick ('27) got the start, facing 15 batters and recording two strikeouts while working through the early innings. Thomas Foley ('27) provided relief, also facing 15 batters, as the Cardinals continued to compete against a lineup that found consistent offensive rhythm.
Offensively, the Cardinals were led by Jacob Hurley ('26) and Jack Brooks ('28) who each recorded a double. Connor Stehn ('27), Isaac Gillespie ('27), and Andrew Antonio ('26) each added a hit, with Brooks and Antonio driving in the team’s two runs.
