v. St. John's College High School
The JV Cardinals fell to St. John’s 10-1, but showed resilience and effort throughout the game.
On the mound, Ben Funk ('29) delivered a durable outing, pitching six innings and facing 32 batters, working consistently to keep the Cardinals in the game and absorb the bulk of the innings.
Offensively, the Cardinals recorded five hits, with Colman Forrer ('29), Patrick Beretsel ('29), Samuel Dyck ('28), Funk, and Beto Mate ('28) each contributing one. The Cardinals continued to put the ball in play and generate opportunities against a tough opponent.
While the result did not go their way, the Cardinals showed toughness and continued to compete throughout the game.
