v. Alexandria City High School
The Cardinals travelled next door to Alexandria City for a cold game under the lights. Our bats, however, were not even close to cold. Eight of the nine starting batters had multiple hits with senior bomber Caroline Dick leading the way with 3 hits and 2 RBI and junior Claire Schlereth crushing two hits and 4 RBI. Senior pitcher Ciera Funk pitched a perfect game through 4 innings and finished with a one hitter after 5. Junior Kolby Curry pitched the last inning in relief with 2 overpowering strikeouts
