Dinwiddie Tournament Game 2
The Cardinals continued their strong defensive in game 2 against Virginia Beach’s Catholic High School. After giving up one run in the first, Sadie Prow was lights out with 4 consecutive shutout innings. She finished the game pitching 6 innings, giving up only 2 runs and just 1 walk. JV call up Basiana Jennings caught a towering deep fly ball and laid down a perfect bunt for a hit knocking in 1 RBI. Kate Harrin made every play in CF while Senior leaders Annie Simon and Claire Trombley powered the offense with 2 hits each in a 7-3 win.
