Carolyn Legard Relays
The Bishop Ireton Track and Field team competed in a fun meet at the Carolyn Legard Relays.
The boys team of Million DeSio, Niko Salamanca, Will Taft and Jason Day broke a 20 year old record in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 10:58.64, shattering the old mark by 8 seconds.
The girls set a new standard in the same event. Sophia Larose, Kate Merrill, Eden Boyd and Regan Schultz shaved 7 seconds off of their time from last year.
Other records set were:
- Boys 4x1600 (Henry Schubert, Ethan Borja, Nico Mundarain, Emilio Burneo)
- Boys Sprint Medley Relay (Eden Chandler, Ben Guardo, Niko Salamanca, Joseph Carter)
- Girls 4x1600 (Collette Jones, Julie Mauceri, Cara McCarthy, Madeline Brown)
- Girls Sprint Medley Relay (Ofelia Schwind, Emma Cohen, Christinia Ciatti, Colleen Meehan)
