v. Mount St. Joseph
BI Varsity 1 faced off with another good MAPHL team, Mount St. Joseph. This was a very physical game where we saw MSJ try to impose their will on BI with heavy checking in the neutral zone.
BI adapted to the play and responded with their own physicality, which allowed BI to secure the victory 2-1. Michael Battaglia '26 had both tallies for Ireton. These goals were assisted by Robert Mate '28, Michael Callender and Connor Seibel.
BI finished an impressive 9-1 in their debut in the MAPHL and awaits a few more results to see where they stand for the MAPHL playoffs that should start next week.
