The Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) varsity basketball team won Tuesday's away conference game against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) by a score of 76-48. The Cardinals led by the score of 37-30 at the half but really turned it up in the second half of the game.
The Cardinals were paced by Evan Brown, Jake Bahr with 11 points, Jayden Mills with 10 and Silas Devonish led all scores with 15. The highlight of the game was a thunderous dunk in the second half of the game by senior Luke Sparrow who recorded his first in game dunk of his career.
