Dinwiddie Tournament Game 1
Bishop Ireton fell to powerhouse Brunswick Academy 11-1 in Saturday’s Dinwiddie tournament game 1. Despite the score, the Cardinals defense showed up giving up only 3 runs over the last 5 innings. Kasey Williams pitched the last 4 innings, Ciera Funk led the offense with two base hits, and Rachel Klaric made an amazing diving play at 3B even though she was playing catcher!
