WCAC Championship

Bishop Ireton V1 had a rematch with PVI for the WCAC Championship. This was a close game. The score was 0-0 after one period.  BI took a penalty late in the second period.  With 14 seconds left in penalty time, PVI scored their first goal.

Again, the game was played at a fast pace with physicality from both teams. The game took a tough turn when PVI got a second goal with 17 seconds left in the second period. However, BI came out with a flurry in the third period but was unable to get any shots past the WCAC co-player of the year, Matthew Cogbill, and fell to PVI 2-0.

Declan Edwards '28 was strong in net for BI where he faced 31 shots. Despite the disappointment of the WCAC loss, the team still has much to play for as they finished third in the MAPHL.
