v. Bishop McNamara

Bishop Ireton pushed No. 2 nationally ranked McNamara to overtime before falling 63–54 in a tightly contested conference matchup at home.
The Cardinals showed poise and resilience throughout the game, keeping pace with one of the top teams in the country. Freshman Nina McEldon delivered the highlight of the night, drilling a clutch corner three-pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime.

Bishop Ireton was led offensively by Mackenzie Jackson, who scored 13 points , 7 assists, and 10 rebounds; Geornae Davis, who added 12 points and 8 rebounds; Nina McEldon chipped in 11 points and 16 rebounds (another double double), including the game-tying three; while Aaliyah Harris contributed 7 points and strong perimeter defense.

Despite McNamara pulling away in overtime, the Cardinals’ performance underscored their growth, toughness, and ability to compete with the nation’s best as conference play continues.
