The Lady Cardinals opened the 2025–26 season in dominant fashion, powering past Norfolk Christian Academy 78–33 in front of an electric home crowd in Godley Gym.
Freshman phenom Nina McEkdon set the tone early and never looked back, delivering an incredible 18 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals—a double-double and near quadruple-five performance in her high-school debut.
Fellow freshman Ginger made her presence felt as well, posting a strong 10 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore sharpshooter Kai Davis poured in 15 points.
