v. Woodberry Forest

The Cardinals suffered a tough 3–0 loss on the road against Woodberry Forest. All three goals were conceded in the first half, but the team showed resilience and composure to compete strongly in the second half despite challenging circumstances.
Bishop Ireton entered the match shorthanded, missing three key players — Senior striker Ian Mohr, Junior winger Gavin Mohr, and Junior fullback Nico Salamanca — all unavailable for selection. With only three substitutes available and two players — Senior center back Travis Mulder and Sophomore midfielder Jackson Guernsey — picking up injuries during the match, the squad’s depth was severely tested.

Despite the setbacks, the Cardinals regrouped after halftime, tightened defensively, and matched Woodberry’s intensity throughout the second period.

Key standout: Junior Mason Bauer provided most of the team’s shot creation and goal-scoring opportunities on the evening, consistently pushing the attack forward and giving the Cardinals a spark in the final third.
