Student Life

Student Activities

The Co-Curricular Life at Bishop Ireton is thriving.  Students are provided leadership activities, opportunities to pursue their passions and all of the fun that high school provides. Our student's have a robust offering of activities. Our student experience includes Spirit Week, Homecoming, Feast Week, Winter Ball and Junior and Senior Prom. Additionally,  as a school we are engaged in service to our local community, national and international partners. Student's participate in monthly Dress-out-days, regular retreats and class competitions. Our Student leaders plan retreats, school prayer services, organize tutoring for their peers and volunteer in the community.

School Spirit

School Spirit plays an important role in the Bishop Ireton Community.  Students at Bishop Ireton High School take pride their school and show their school spirit across a variety of events including Dress-Out Days, Retreats, Class Competitions, Athletic Events, and School Dances.

Bishop Ireton High School hosts several student dances throughout the year.  Students at Bishop Ireton celebrate the start of each academic year during Homecoming weekend in the fall.  Additionally, Bishop Ireton High School holds the long-standing tradition of hosting the Winter Ball- a school tradition dating back to 1968.  During the spring semester, upperclassmen have the opportunity to partake in the school's Junior-Senior Prom.

Community Outreach

Bishop Ireton students strive to help others. Students at Bishop Ireton involve themselves in community service across a variety of initiatives throughout the year. In addition to local community service, students are provided with the opportunity to volunteer at Bishop Ireton's sister schools in Camden, NJ and Haiti.
