Girls' Soccer Hosts First Annual Cardinal Cup

Saturday March 27, 2021 marked the first Annual Cardinal Cup Tournament featuring the entire Bishop Ireton Girls Soccer Program. Three teams competed on the day to accumulate the highest point spread to win the prized Cardinal Cup trophy. Also, this past Saturday the Bishop Ireton Girls Soccer Program celebrated and honored its 12 graduating seniors Savannah Hensley, Jessica Gerard (Captain), Elizabeth Hutchison (Captain), Brigid O’Connor, Mia Jocz, Natalie Briggs, Emme-Cate Heilburn, Alexandra Gray, Morgan Taylor (Captain), Francesca DiNapoli, Kelly Reilly and Mary-Claire Dyke. The graduating seniors competed as a team in the tournament and went undefeated to take home the Championship. Goals from Elizabeth Hutchison (1), Brigid O’Connor (1), and Mary-Claire Dyke (2) allowed the senior team to lift the Cardinal Cup trophy victoriously!
