Recognizing Bishop Ireton Rising Seniors with the 2020 Book Awards
Every year, colleges give high schools the opportunity to recognize rising seniors for their contributions to the school and greater community. Many of these recognitions include a book to assist the student in their growth while sometimes also including college application fee waivers should the student choose to apply to that college and potential scholarships should the student choose to enroll at that particular college. The faculty at Bishop Ireton nominates the recipients of these awards.
This year, Bishop Ireton is also fortunate and grateful to have an additional scholarship award to present from the Herbert-Cady Division of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians. Although the Bishop Ireton Counseling Team is unfortunately not in-person to recognize these students and present them with their award(s), they still wanted to highlight these students’ significant contributions and achievements before physically sharing the awards with them in the fall.
