Steel Beams Become Time Capsule In New Academic Wing
Students, faculty, and staff took time during their lunch period on Thursday, March 14 to sign two 36’ steel beams for the new academic wing, which is set to be finished this fall.
Students signed their names using a different color marker that represented their class year.
“The Cardinal community came together on Thursday with great pride and joy in signing the beams that will become part of the foundation of the new Academic Center,” said Principal Denise Tobin. “We all look forward to the completion of the building and the additional space and resources it will provide to our school.”
The two beams will be exposed on the third-floor of the physics lab, allowing them to be visible to the school community for years to come.
