We, the Salesian Discipleship Team of Bishop Ireton High School, are Catholic Christians in the Salesian tradition, following a daily commitment to Live Jesus, after the example of St. Francis de Sales and to offer strategies and opportunities for others to Live Jesus as well. We are entrusted with the task of exploring, articulating and implementing the Christian/Catholic/Salesian dimension in all aspects of the school's program and of strengthening our affiliation with the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. Nourished by the Eucharist, we celebrate communitas in prayer, work and play.

Blessed Louis Brisson, OSFS (1817-1908) was the founder of the Oblates of St. Francis De Sales and was Beatified on September 22, 2012. Click here for a brief biography of Fr. Brisson.
