Course Description:

Honors American History is for the student who wishes to pursue the study of United States history at a higher level than the regular C.P. course. The course content will focus on the political, economic, religious, social, and cultural development of the United States with emphasis also given to geography. Since "every person is his/her own historian and interprets history in light of their own experience," this course will concentrate on making the study of history "come alive." Regular and varied enrichment activities will be incorporated into this chronological study of United States history, making it more diffcult than the C.P. level course.
