232: College Preparatory U.S. History

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
C.P. U.S. History is the "regular" American history course. It is a comprehensive study of American History and will show each student how the history of the United States has evolved, and how it affects us today. Cause and effect relationships are explored, and comparisons and contemplations between the past and present are presented and discussed to make our history more relevant and meaningful to each student.

PRE-REQUISITES: None

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

Textbook: The American Pageant (12th ed.) by Thomas Bailey, et.al.
Guidebook: The American Pageant Guidebook (12th ed.)
Notebook: A three-ring binder style notebook is needed.

 

GRADING: Tests, Quizzes, Homeworks, Guidebook/Classwork , Notebook,and other activities. **ACTIVITIES AND GRADING WILL VARY ACCORDING TO THE TEACHER
