"Each person is unrepeatedly unique. We human beings are not chips in a
divine computer! Francis de Sales our model here, always took people where
they were and how they were, affirming the good in each of them and leading
them in the manner their personalities and temperaments suggested. He gave
a special place to the Spirit's call or inspiration in the life of each person
and at the different stages and states in that life. His only hope was that
each person would realizes his/her unique potential; he expressed that hope
in his classic way: "Let us be who we are and be it well! We believe that
the people we serve are individuals, free loving and good. Our ministry in
their behalf reflects that belief and is rooted there."
